Privacy Policy for Kotel Compass

Kotel Compass (“the App”) is developed by ShomerDNS.com. This policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used.

What the App accesses
Location (GPS / network location). Used only to calculate the real-time distance and compass bearing from your current position to the Western Wall (Kotel) in Jerusalem.
Compass / orientation sensor. Used only to rotate the on-screen dial so it stays aligned with true north as you turn your device.

How this data is used
All calculations happen entirely on your device, in real time. Your location and orientation data are never stored, logged, transmitted, or shared with ShomerDNS.com, any third party, any analytics service, or any advertising network. The App does not contact any server, does not include ad or analytics SDKs, and does not have a user account system.

Permissions
Location access is requested only so the compass can function. You can grant, deny, or revoke this permission at any time in your device’s system settings; if denied, the App will show a message asking you to grant permission rather than silently failing.

Children’s privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect or transmit personal information at all.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised “Last updated” date.
